I grew into IT by fixing whatever was in front of me.
I spent more than seven years at HOBO and got to see it from almost every angle. I started on the warehouse floor, moved into operations, then onto the help desk as I took on more of the technology side, and eventually ran the systems everyone there depended on. Today I'm on the IT team at American Pest.
That path shaped how I work. I know what it's like to be the person waiting on IT, so I care a lot about getting people back to work quickly, and about fixing the cause rather than just the symptom.
Where I've been.

IT Help Desk Analyst
American Pest · 2026 – presentI support more than 450 employees at American Pest, at their desks and remotely. I troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and mobile devices end to end, and keep devices enrolled, compliant and up to date through Intune.
I also help run Microsoft 365 and Azure AD accounts and access, and I keep detailed ticket notes and contribute to the knowledge base, so a fix only has to be figured out once.

Systems Administrator
HOBO · 2024 – 2026I took ownership of the environment itself. I ran a hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft 365 setup, wrote and maintained the Group Policy and Conditional Access rules that kept it secure, and managed every account from a new hire's first login to a clean, complete offboarding.
I also owned the full life of our devices, from building and deploying them to patching, encrypting and fixing them remotely, and I watched over email security, stopping phishing and malware before it could cause problems. Through it all I was still the person people called when something was truly stuck.

Help Desk Technician
HOBO · 2022 – 2024I was the first stop for anything tech-related across the organization: desktops, laptops, software, connectivity, on-site and remote. I worked the ticket queue from start to finish, and built and deployed new machines so people were ready to go on day one.
The part I'm proudest of is the internal knowledge base I started. Every time I tracked down the root cause of a recurring issue, I wrote it up, and people began solving common problems on their own, which meant fewer repeat tickets for everyone.

Warehouse & Operations
HOBO · 2018 – 2022I started out supporting a high-volume e-commerce operation. Ahead of a record peak season I led an efficiency push, with better tools and updated procedures, that helped lift order output by 50% over the year before. It was my first taste of how much the right technology can change the way a team works.
Education & training.
I hold an associate degree in applied science and I'm working toward a bachelor's in business administration, which helps me see IT the way leadership does: as something that should save time and reduce risk, not just keep the lights on.
On the technical side, I've done focused training in Windows Server, Entra ID (Azure AD) administration, PowerShell scripting and Jira administration, and I put it to use every day.
